Leadership Training Conference Technology Co-Chair Application


 If you're attending LTC and would like to play a bigger role in the conference please consider the Technology Co-Choir position. For this position, you would work alongside the current Webmaster to oversee all of the technological aspects of the conference in addition to working with the adults to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Please keep in mind that registration is due Tuesday, March 1st!! I hope to see you all at LTC, and please do not hesitate to contact the officers with any questions!

3 Lunar New Year Events!


 It looks like February is going to be a lot less boring than January! There are 3 upcoming events related to Lunar New Year, hosted by Better Chinatown Society and Hunter High School Key Club.

 The first event, the 17th Annual New Year Firecracker Ceremony and Cultural Festival, will take place on Monday, February 8th from 8:30 am to 4 pm (final time TBA). The event itself takes place at Sara D. Roosevelt Park and volunteers will be setting up and running booths for organizations.

 The second event, the 17th Annual Chinatown Parade and Festival, will take place on Sunday, February 14th from 9 am to 4 pm (final time TBA). The location is TBA but there will be a map of the parade route provided in the below link. Volunteers will be setting up and walking with Better Chinatown and more!

 The third event, the Brooklyn Lantern Festival, will take place on Sunday, February 28th from 8:30 am to 3 pm (final time TBA). The event takes place at Sunset Park, specifically at 8th Avenue from 53rd - 55th Street. Volunteers will help Better Chinatown set up and run booths, in addition they can also enjoy a variety of performances!
