The Deadline for Awards is Approaching!

Hey guys! We have urged you to apply for awards for the past month and their deadlines are coming up soon. I know many of you guys can only apply for the Distinguished Key Clubber Award, which is completely fine! But please note that there is an early deadline, February 1st, where you will get additional points if you do submit early. The regular deadline for the DKC award and all other awards is February 15th. Also, you can ask another member or an officer to write you a letter of recommendation which will net you bonus points! Once again, I urge each and everyone of you to apply for DKC or at least look over the awards booklet!

2016 Key Club International Convention

This year's Key Club International Convention(ICON) will take place in Atlanta, Georgia from July 6-10! ICON is the biggest Key Club event of the year. With over 1,000 Key Clubbers attending from around the world, the convention is a great way to meet new people and bond with fellow Key Clubbers. In addition to meeting other fellow Key Clubbers, this trip offers a reservation in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel and a chance to explore the wonderful city of Atlanta. If you have been elected into any position, then ICON is the perfect way to learn about your new leadership position. Of course, ICON is also the place to elect the new International Board which includes the International President, Vice President, and International Trustees! Last year's ICON took place in Indianapolis to celebrate Kiwanis' 100th anniversary.

REMINDER: LTC DOWN PAYMENT

Please pay the LTC down payment/bus fee of $40 to ensure your spot by this week! A general estimate of the cost of the actual trip will be released after we get a better idea of how many kids are planning to come, which we will determine from a sign up sheet passed around at the club meeting. If you have any questions about LTC, feel free to message me or any of the officers.

Also note, if you are planning to run as an officer, you MUST attend LTC.
And awards will be distributed during LTC as well.

A Message From Our Lieutenant Governor, Ruoxin Lin!

Hey Guys, please read this, this is very important information:

1)HOODIES
For this service year I would like to have a sweatshirt for our division. So if you would like to order one, please fill out both forms and the design is attached below.

Yes, I am retiring. Therefore we need a new Lieutenant Governor for our division! Please message me if you are interested and/or if anyone in your club is interested in this position. I will go over the requirements and tasks in detail.

3) ELECTION REPORT FORM
In addition to me retiring, you guys will also need to elect new officers to replace your position. Please try to promote elections for new officers as soon as possible, and try to have elections done before LTC. The reason is because the officer elect will receive training during LTC and get to know more about KEY CLUB before they take over.

Please try to submit the money as soon as possible.
5) LTC FEE
a. Bus fee: $38 please pay ASAP serves as a down payment
b. LTC fee: $276.05
Please submit money to your club if you wish to participate. The bus money will be consider as down payment for the trip.
