March of Dimes 2015

I would like to thank those who attended the March of Dimes this year and hopefully we could get even more people next year! Most of the people who RSPV'd on the Facebook event actually attended and we had a lot more people than the cemetery clean up. To recap, we walked 3.5 miles to raise awareness for research that helps babies begin a healthy life. Once again, thanks to all who came and please try to attend the events in May!

Cemetery Clean Up

Although, I cannot say I'm not disappointed, the clean up was quite successful. We did have some confusion over the address of the cemetery and I honestly expected more than myself in attendance.I believe most of the people went to the walk against domestic violence in teen relationships instead. But overall there was a sizable amount of people, mostly from Brooklyn Tech and Murrow and we helped clean up the cemetery in a timely fashion.

For those who couldn't attend heres a picture of me :}

4/26/15 March of Dimes

  Like last year, we are doing the March of Dimes which takes place on April 26, 2015. For those who don't know, the March of Dimes is a walk that raises money that is used for research to help babies begin healthy lives. They have helped drop the premature birthrate for the 7th year in a row and have more than 500 local programs to help educate women and reduce risks during pregnancy. This year's March of Dimes in Manhattan is in the Lincoln Center Area, Columbus Avenue at 62nd Street New York, NY 10023. The walk is 3.5 miles, registration begins at 8:30 AM and the walk starts at 10 AM.
